What is the role of Sudan change now? Is it a coordination body or an implementing one? (or both)
Sudan Change Now Works as a coordinating body and an implementing one depending on the situation at hand. Coordination occurs when issues arise that require unified efforts to create a larger and more meaningful impact. Simultaneously, SCN implements when spearheading its own campaigns
How is Sudan Change Now different from other movements?
One of the main aims of SCN is to change the current regime, however this is not the sole aim of the movement. There are 13 specific goals that are concerned with what follows the change of regime and ways of ensuring a peaceful transition with relevant mechanisms that support guarantees in establishing the required institutional framework for a democratic structures are in place, SCN will maintain the role of a “pressure group” or “watchdog” on behalf of the Sudanese people for governments to come
What is the link between the key members of Sudan Change Now and the political parties they are or were part of?
Yes, SCN has members who are still active in their respective parties. Having members who continue to be affiliated to other parties creates a good connectedness with these parties. Since SCN is a movement, this means that members who are affiliated with their parties can continue to be active members in both without contradicting their roles. When change does occur, these members will be able to further develop their expertise and links in the parties they belong to.
How active is Sudan Change Now on the ground? Does it participate in mobilization? And how?
SCN has proactively organized and supported most mobilization efforts on the ground since 2010. These activities were not as effective as should be but SCN maintains a solid role within resistance activities and on the ground. SCN also provides legal, Communication and medical Support to those affected by these activities throughout.
What is the political line of Sudan Change Now? (Clear outline)
Non-Violent and peaceful democratic transformation for Sudan is the priority of the movement; with the understanding that the right of citizens of Sudan is non-negotiable.
What type of membership is Sudan Change Now targeting?
SCN targets Sudanese citizens from all regions, ethnicities, religious backgrounds who suffer from current regime.
Where does SCN membership come from? Are they equally spread all over the country? If not, which areas are they concentrated in? why?
SCN’s current membership comprises of Sudanese in Khartoum and other States, as well as abroad. Efforts are being done to cover all the states throughout the country.
If elections happen again before the government is changed, what will be SCN position?
Despite SCN’s reservations on the occurrence of a free and fair election under this regime; it will Endeavour to work hard on creating sufficient awareness of voters through appropriate civic and voter education activities. However within these activities, if the elections are not being fairly implemented, SCN will ensure that voters are also aware of this.
When was SCN established?
SCN was established in January 2010; however initiation activities were done within already established opposition political parties from as early as 2008.
How can someone become a member or support the Movement?
SCN Hopes that those who are interested can further explore possibilities of supporting or joining the movement through directly contacting SCN or engaging in the topic being raised in campaigns and contributing ideas, expertise and following/joining campaigns.

حركة التغيير الآن تعمل كجسم تنسيقي وتنفيذي في اَن واحد حسب الحوجة والوضع الراهن، حيث تقوم الحركة بالدور التنسيقي بين المجكوعات والجعات المختلفة عندما تطرأ قضايا تتطلب بذل جهود موحدة لخلق تأثير أكبر، كما تقوم الحركة بتنفيذ برامجها الخاصة وحملاتها المختلفة.
كيف تختلف حركة التغيير الآن عن غيرها من حركات التغيير؟
واحد من الأهداف الرئيسية لحركة التغيير الآن هو تغيير النظام الحالي، وهو هدف تتفق فيه مع الكثير من حركات التغيير الأخرى. لكن إضافة إلى ذلك هنالك 13 هدفاً محدداً تهتم بالقضايا التي تصاحب تغيير النظام من سبل ضمان التحول السلمي و الآليات المختلفة التي تدعم إنشاء الإطار المؤسسي اللازم لقيام مجتمع ديمقراطي. كما ستظل حركة التغيير الاًن مستمرة في لعب دور "المراقب" للحكومات القادمة نيابة عن الشعب السوداني حتى استتباب هياكل ديمقراطية كافية وفعالة في مكانها الصحيح.
هل تحتوي الحركة على أعضاء ينتمون لأحزاب سياسية الاَن أو سابقاً؟
تحتوي حركة التغيير الاَن على أعضاء غير منتمين سياسياً كما تحتوي على أعضاء سابقين أو حاليين في أحزاب سياسية. وجود أفراد داخل الحركة من أحزاب سياسية يخلق تواصلاً جيداً مع هذه الأحزاب، وحيث أن التغيير الاَن هي حركة اجتماعية وليست حزباً سياسياً فإن الإنتماء إليها ودعم أنشطتها لا يتعارض مع الإنتماءات السياسية الأخرى. تجربة الانتماء لحركة تغيير اجتماعية ترفع من قدرات الأعضاء وتمدهم بخبرات تكون حتماً مفيدة حتى بعد حدوث التغيير.
ما هو الدور الذي قامت/تقوم به حركة التغيير الاَن لإحداث التغيير أرض الواقع؟ هل تشارك في التعبئة؟ كيف؟
نظمت حركة التغيير الاًن جزء كبير من كافة أنشطة التعبئة التي حدثت منذ 2010 كما ساهمت في بعضها. لم تكن هذه الأنشطة فعالة كما ينبغي، إلا أن الحركة تظل تحافظ على دورها في نشاطات التغيير على أرض الواقع مع الإستفادة من النجاحات والأخفاقات معاً. كما توفر الحركة الدعم القانوني، والاتصالات والخدمات الطبية للمتضررين من هذه الأنشطة في جميع أنحاء البلاد.
ما هو الخط السياسي لتغيير السودان الآن؟
التحول الديمقراطي السلمي في السودان مع التأكيد على أن حقوق المواطنين غير قابلة للتفاوض.
ما هو نوع العضوية التي تستهدفها حركة التغيير الاَن؟
تستهدف الحركة المواطنين السودانيين من جميع المناطق والإثنيات والخلفيات الدينية المتضررون من النظام الحالي والمؤمنون بضرورة التغيير وحتمية حدوثه.
ما هو التوزيع الجغرافي لأعضاء حركة التغيير الاَن ولماذا؟
تتكون العضوية من سودانيين في الخرطوم وولايات السودان الأخرى كما توجد عضوية خارج السودان. الجهود مستمرة لزيادة العضوية من جميع أنحاء السودان.
ماذا سيكون موقف حركة التغيير الاَن في حالة حدوث انتخابات عامة في ظل النظام الراهن؟
على الرغم من تحفظ الحركة على إمكانية حدوث انتخابات حرة ونزيهة تحت ظل النظام الراهن، ستعمل على رفع الوعي لدى المواطنين عبر برامج منظمة لتثقيف الناخبين. وفي حالة التأكد من عدم نزاهة العملية الإنتخابية ستحرص الحركة على أن تملك المواطنين الحقائق.
متى تم تأسيس حركة التغيير الاَن؟
تأسست حركة التغيير الاَن في يناير 2010، لكن الكثير من النشاطات المتعلقة بالفكرة والتأسيس قد بدأت بالفعل من داخل عدد من أحزاب المعارضة منذ 2008.
